The 4-Cell Cedar Seedling Tray is natural, durable, and zero waste alternative to the flimsy, synthetic, plastic seedling trays that will last multiple seasons. These planters were not only designed by gardeners, they are actually handcrafted by gardeners as well!
However, these cedar seedling trays have a twist! The middle slots are actually removable, so you can choose to have 4 Cells, 2 Cells, or make it a small planter, perfect for small plants!
Why Cedar? Cedar is known for its ability to withstand the elements naturally, without need of any chemical treatments! Therefore, you can enjoy growing plants in these trays season after season. And, after years of use, you can just put them in your compost pile, with zero waste!
So how do you use them? The exact same way as a plastic tray! The only difference is when it comes time to take your seedlings out and put them in your garden. Pull up the middle slots from the planter, leaving your 4 seedlings still in the tray. Scoop out the seedlings one by one and plant them into there new home!

This product does not have a finish as cedar is naturally weather resistant. But water and soil can stain the tray. After every use, wash thoroughly with water. Let them dry in the sun. Do NOT submerge in water.
